      <description>Hi all,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have problem with CDE in HP-UX 10.20.&lt;BR /&gt;After loading system appears login screen.&lt;BR /&gt;Then I type login/password and "enter" to shell.&lt;BR /&gt;But shell work short time and system back to command line.&lt;BR /&gt;I didnt see any message.&lt;BR /&gt;Whats up?&lt;BR /&gt;This machine ( HP B180L) was stopped  few days ago.&lt;BR /&gt;But once (  then station work without UPS) was broken power supplies.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanx in advance.&lt;BR /&gt;Oleg</description>

      <description>Hello Oleg,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;try moving your user-account's "$HOME/.dt" directory aside (rename it), and then try to login again.&lt;BR /&gt;Does it work now?&lt;BR /&gt;CDE keeps hostname-information in that directory, and if your name-resolution changes, you cannot login anymore :-(&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH,&lt;BR /&gt;Wodisch</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Just to confirm, you are logging in to the command-line mode from the CDE login screen?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If it is not that and you have problems getting your CDE session up, then execute /usr/contrib/bin/X11/dr_dt, the diagnostics for CDE.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# /usr/contrib/bin/X11/dr_dt &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope this helps.
