    <description>When I attempt to a halt a package in my MC/ServiceGuard&lt;BR /&gt;environment, my Oracle script begins to loop from a failure,&lt;BR /&gt;and I am unable to halt the package.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The following is an extract from my control.sh.log:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;---- start of control.sh.log ----&lt;BR /&gt;Oracle abort done!&lt;BR /&gt; *** ora_smon_FITFUA process has stopped! ***&lt;BR /&gt; *** ora_pmon_FITFUA process has stopped! ***&lt;BR /&gt; *** ora_lgwr_FITFUA process has stopped! ***&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;How can I correct this problem?&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;this is a very known problem in service guard&lt;BR /&gt;that occurs because the halt&lt;BR /&gt;command function has two variables that can get out of&lt;BR /&gt;sync if one or more of the processes has died or hung&lt;BR /&gt;at the time time that the database is being shut down.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;u required MC/ServiceGuard Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit (B5139BA) &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;it contains startup and halt scripts for the server.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;here is sample script attached for oracle&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;radhakrishnan&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
