topic swpackage in Operating System - HP-UX

Hi,

I have just used swpackage to create a depot for an application and after a little experimenting it works OK. I then tried to create a patch and this works provided I specify "is_patch false". If I specify "is_patch true" and provide an "ancestor P.F", then it fails to install with a note that "it may only be installed upon a previously installed base fileset" (P.F) which it claims does not exist on the target. However swlist shows P.F in its listing.
Am I missing something simple here?

Thanks
John
