Hi Luis:

If I understand your question you need NTP (Network Time Protocol). You can configure everything using SAM. One of the best ways is to use the US Naval Observatory as your stratum 1 server (navobs1.wustl.edu); you can then configure a server within your network as a stratum 2 time server and all your NTP client point to it.

Do you mean for time synchronization?
xntp is an HP daemon that can sync the time.

If you search on the forums, you will find a lot of information about it.
Eileen

Hi Jose:

Yes, you simple want to setup Network Time Protocol (NTP). This is part of the core OS. It's setup is quite simple. The steps needed are outlined in A good guide to setting up NTP services can be found in chapter-7 of "Installing and Administering Internet Services":

http://docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/B2355-90685/B2355-90685.html

External atomic time sources are freely available. One list of them can be found here:

http://tycho.usno.navy.mil/ntp.html

Regards!

...JRF...
