    <description>Just ask if someone experimente that:  I have some of my server running HP-UX 11.00 and some other HP-UX 11i.  All my server run OpenSSH and telnet, rlogin, etc.. are disabled.  So on my PC I use Putty to connect (with SSH2) on all my server.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;On HP-UX 11.00 arrow key works fine in vi but not on HP-UX 11i (I tested both OS in a fresh vanilla installation and same thing).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks</description>

      <description>Yup.  Both are set as xterm.  But like I said, I reinstall the both OS on two machine and without changing anything the arrow key doesn't work on 11i.  Even an upgrade from 11.00 to 11i do that.  That really strange...</description>

      <description>What happens if you use CDE from your 11i box? Do you get the same result. Also, you could try a different SSH Terminal Emulator like Tera Term or the OpenSSH product for windows that can turn your PC into a server or client. I have found Putty to be a little awkward, but that is just me.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Good Luck,&lt;BR /&gt;C</description>
