topic Apache auth_ldap and SSL in Operating System - HP-UX

I have Apache 2.0.43 and I want to compile auth_ldap 1.6 with ssl support, but the Netscape C SDK doesn't seem to be available anywhere. Has anyone else tried compiling auth_ldap with ssl recently? The default module with the HP Apache server doesn't come with ssl.

Thanks,
Jason

Hi,
I don't know about auth_ldap module,
but to compile you should use gcc and not C sdk.
Of course, you need to install before, ldap libraries & ssl libraries.
I have compiled Apache with many modules (with gcc) but not auth_ldap+ssl.
you can download libs and gcc on a portal center :
http://hpux.connect.org.uk

hope that help,
Benoit
