    <description>If I boot my HP-UX (11.0) machine I get this error message:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;side_ss(): Bailing out on bad IDE status (0x7f) on index 2&lt;BR /&gt;side_ss(): Bailing out on bad IDE status (0x7f) on index 3&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;On the IDE Port is only the CD-Rom connected which is working.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I don???t have any ideas what can be the problem.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks for any help.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Peter&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>This is due to the fact that you could have multiple devices on the IDE bus, but the driver isonly finding one.&lt;BR /&gt;PHKL_20822 or it's superceding patch should help alleviate these symptoms, although they are harmless.&lt;BR /&gt;HTH</description>

      <description>The messages are related to the IDE driver. It will appear every time the driver communicate with the CD-ROM. They are not destructive. Please check if you got path PHKL_20822 (IDE/ATAPI) patch installed. Apparently this patch will get rid of the annoying message.</description>
