A known problem with 11.x ..
Look at /etc/rc.config.d/pd and make sure PD_CLIENT is set to 0 (disable). Reboot and hopefully your problem will go away.

Hi everyone,

I'm banging my head trying to get a HP4050 printer working on HPUX 11.00 box. The printer is connected to a Windows NT box. I'm trying to setup BSD style connection. This configuration works on a HPUX 10.20 workstation going to the same printer.

Items I've tried:
I've used SAM - LP printers, Printers/Plotters
I've used command line

This is the error message I get when I set up a remote printer

"The remote printer "Qa4050sf2k (whose location is Qa4050sf2k on sulfur.sf.agency.com)" already exists on this system."

Not sure what this message imply's since I haven't setup a remoter printer yet.

Any ideas.

Thanks in advance
