      <description>But i dont have any shell access to the remote system. and lpstat only shows my local printerqueues. rlpstat shows remote queues if the printer is defined on the local system. &lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you do not have shell access then declare all of the printers on 1 machine as remote to the others and use rlpstat.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Otherwise you need remsh.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If they are all jetdirect cards you can use &lt;BR /&gt;hpnpadmin and interrogate the cards for some data.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;webjetadmin would have helped in this as well for network printers.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;             Steve Steel</description>

      <description>should be able to list the remote queues with telnet or netcat to the remote host and port 515 somehow... its a litle catch 22 otherwize.. cos i cant add a remote printer if i dont know the remote quename. and i cant list the que because i havent added the printer. =/</description>
