Hi To all.

Guys/Gals
When you post a question on the forum please give as much information as possible, as on many occasions the person trying to help has to request this information in order to help.

Things like :-

1. Model.
2. OS.
3. Patch level.
4. What a script is trying to do.
5. The errors being received.
6. There is no rule six
7. A copy of a script.
7. Etc
8. Etc
9. In order to aqvoid confusion everyone will be called Bruce.

The more info you give the quicker the forumers can help you.

I think this is a good idea - but obiviously not all "things" need to be filled in.

IE: if you have a question about how to do something (like mirror the root VG) - then there is no need for rule number 5 (errors being receved).

I think this should be added to "etiquette"

While we're on the subject (and speaking of subject), wouldn't it be great to make the subject a bit more of the problem? I know many folks do it, but there are still a lot of posts with titles like "ignite problem..."

Makes it easier to scan for stuff you know you can help somebody with...
