      <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;getwd getcwd probably are what you need.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Assuming you have man pages on your system run catman -w&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This makes /usr/lib/whatis a man index&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Then with man -k you can search it&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;example&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;man -k current|grep dir&lt;BR /&gt;getcwd( )(3C)           - get pathname of current working directory&lt;BR /&gt;getwd( )(3C)            - get pathname of current working directory&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;           Steve Steel</description>
