    <description>Have you allowed read and execute permissions for all on the entire directory tree? Do a "chmod 755 /FTPOutgoing/Adi/adi/to_adi/edcd " and see if it helps.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am having errors when i tried to do an ftp of a file in a multi-directory home a/c.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;But when I did a cd to each &amp;amp; everyone of the sub-directories, I am able to get the file.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is there any known issue of ftp when doing a multi-directory ftp.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Eg:&lt;BR /&gt;ftp&amp;gt; get /FTPOutgoing/Adi/adi/to_adi/edcd/AD1981/116181.1_80286569.1_ENGG_YLD_ANALYSIS_25C_NULL_NULL/sample_datalog_only.txt&lt;BR /&gt;/FTPOutgoing/Adi/adi/to_adi/edcd/AD1981/116181.1_80286569.1_ENGG_YLD_ANALYSIS_25C_NULL_NULL/sample_datalog_only.txt: No such file or directory&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When doing a cd'ing to each &amp;amp; every directories bedfore doing a get.&lt;BR /&gt;ftp&amp;gt; pwd&lt;BR /&gt;257 "/FTPOutgoing/Adi/adi" is current directory.&lt;BR /&gt;ftp&amp;gt; cd /FTPOutgoing/Adi/adi/to_adi/edcd/AD1981/116181.1_80286569.1_ENGG_YLD_ANALYSIS_25C_NULL_NULL&lt;BR /&gt;ftp&amp;gt; get sample_datalog_only.txt&lt;BR /&gt;200 PORT command successful.&lt;BR /&gt;150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for sample_datalog_only.txt (1144 bytes).&lt;BR /&gt;226 Transfer complete.&lt;BR /&gt;local: sample_datalog_only.txt remote: sample_datalog_only.txt&lt;BR /&gt;1200 bytes received in 0.012 seconds (98.82 Kbytes/s)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;Either your output got mangled or I'm not quite sure what you are asking exactly.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you want to get 1 file it should work &lt;BR /&gt;like this&lt;BR /&gt;cd /local_directory&lt;BR /&gt;ftp&amp;gt;get /remote_directory/filename &lt;LOCAL_FILENAME&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Using a local filename is not mandatory, but if you don't use it, you should "cd" to the remote directory first. Otherwise you might get problems with the directory structure.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you want to get multiple files it should work like this&lt;BR /&gt;cd /local_directory&lt;BR /&gt;ftp&amp;gt;mget /remote_directory/filename1 /remote_directory/filename2 ...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Does this solve your problem ?&lt;BR /&gt;Tom Geudens&lt;/LOCAL_FILENAME&gt;</description>
