Hey, what the hell is 179cms and 76kgs ?? is that short and heavy, or tall and lean, or tall and heavy, or short and lean .... us stupid americans are stuck in a world where we measure things by pounds and inches, yet we have 9mm bullets, drink pepsi from 2liter bottles, and measure our engines displacement in cubic centimeters. Harry,

* 1 US ton = 2000 lbs
* 1000 kilograms = 1 metric ton
* Divide pounds by 2.2 to get kilograms

So if my math is right a US megaton would be 4.4 metric megatons - correct.?

Harry,

As to your 1st question:

* Multiply inches by 2.54 to get centimeters - so 179 cms would be 70 inches or 5'10"

And

* Divide pounds by 2.2 to get kilograms - so 76 kgs would be 167 lbs

I'd say that's relatively lean but not that tall - just average.

Thought about the megaton question over the weekend & boy - I had my equation backwards!.
The ration would be metric 1.1 - to - US 1....SO a US megaton would be approx 0.9 metric megaton in TNT weight.
Lesson is, either way you're going to be a crispy critter i.e. TOAST.
Good thing I didn't screw up the weight/height question or JRF would have been HUGE ;~)
