Anyone using Oracle know these additional "recommendations"

Oracle recommends the December 2002 Gold Quality Pack for all installations. This applies to 11.00 and 11.11 HP-UX

If you have metalink access, Oracle has a list of patches they recommend on top of the December 2002. Here is the link.

http://metalink.oracle.com/metalink/plsql/ml2_documents.showDocument?p_database_id=NOT&p_id=43507.1

I've posted summaries of that list on a number of occaisions.

Last issue of course is java. You need to restrict yoursself to java 1.2 or java 1.3 http://www.hp.com/go/java and there are a lot of patches associated with that not on the other two lists.

Good Luck with Oracle. Its a lot of work and a lot of fun.

SEP
