      <description>Hi Guys,&lt;BR /&gt; We have ordered 11i o/s for D-class 270 server and j2240 workstation. And we had received 3 packs.&lt;BR /&gt;2- packs similar (Minimal Techincal Operating Environment Pack) and&lt;BR /&gt;1 - Pack Operating Environment&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I wanted to know whether which is for Server and which is for workstation installation.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please help me.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks&lt;BR /&gt;K.Rajesh&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Its not really a matter of which is for a workstation as which applications do you want installed. If you dont have much memory  or diskspace (11i really needs a 9Gb drive to install the full pack and 512+ RAM) or dont want all the extras such as web server, java etc, then only install the minimal technical pack and you can add on the other apps if and when you need them.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;My understanding is,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1 pack operating Environment and 1 pack minimal technical operating environment should be for server.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1 pack minimal technical operating environment should be for workstation.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ie. you may choose to install OE or mimimal technical OE on server but may be only minimal technical OE on workstation.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-Vijay&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Generally on the packs ment for server "800" will be mentioned on the cover and for workstations "700".&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope i am correct.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Vijay</description>
