Let me describe the problem:

Users running on windows machines are not able to view the reports that are generated by the 9iAS server. This happens regardless of the size of the reports but very evident in huge ones. It is confirmed that the report file had been generated on the server, but when viewed on the client's browser, it will hang/crash their session. The Jserv process will be terminated and below is the error from the Jserv.log:

[17/03/2003 16:08:36:120] (EMERGENCY) ajp12: connection fail
[17/03/2003 16:08:36:120] (ERROR) an error returned handling request via protoco
l "ajpv12"
[17/03/2003 16:08:37:817] (INFO) wrapper: Java VM exited (PID=5159)
[17/03/2003 16:08:37:818] (INFO) wrapper: Java VM restarting (PID=5159)
[17/03/2003 16:08:37:820] (INFO) wrapper: Java VM spawned (PID=8096, PPID=5159)
[17/03/2003 03:08:39:229 GMT-05:00] Viewer/oracle.discoiv.Disco4iv: init
[17/03/2003 03:08:39:229 GMT-05:00] Viewer/oracle.discoiv.Disco4iv: Initializing
Discoverer 4i Viewer (4.1.36.75)

The apache log file shows the following messages:

[Mon Mar 17 16:08:32 2003] [info] [client 192.168.1.38] (32)Broken pipe: client
stopped connection before send body completed
Stack_Trace: error while unwinding stack
( 0) 0xc73029f4 report_error__FPciN21e + 0x54 [/opt/java1.2/jre/bin/../lib/P
A_RISC2.0/hotspot/libjvm.sl]
( 1) 0xc73e85f0 JVM_handle_hpux_signal + 0x390 [/opt/java1.2/jre/bin/../lib/
PA_RISC2.0/hotspot/libjvm.sl]
( 2) 0xc73e824c signalHandler__FiP9__siginfoPv + 0x14 [/opt/java1.2/jre/bin/
../lib/PA_RISC2.0/hotspot/libjvm.sl]
( 3) 0xc020fe10 _sigreturn [/usr/lib/libc.2]
[Mon Mar 17 16:08:32 2003] [info] [client 192.168.1.38] (32)Broken pipe: client
stopped connection before send body completed
[Mon Mar 17 16:08:32 2003] [error] [client 192.168.1.38] Premature end of script
headers: /servlet/RWServlet
[Mon Mar 17 16:08:32 2003] [info] [client 192.168.1.38] (32)Broken pipe: client
stopped connection before rflush completed
[Mon Mar 17 16:08:32 2003] [error] [client 192.168.1.38] Premature end of script
headers: /servlet/RWServlet
[Mon Mar 17 16:08:32 2003] [info] [client 192.168.1.38] (32)Broken pipe: client
stopped connection before rflush completed
[Mon Mar 17 16:08:32 2003] [error] [client 192.168.1.38] Premature end of script
headers: /servlet/RWServlet
[Mon Mar 17 16:08:32 2003] [info] [client 192.168.1.38] (32)Broken pipe: client
stopped connection before rflush completed

Any help is much appreciated.
