cannot build a kernel

Hi
We have a L2000(HPUX11.0 64bit) system on which I am trying to tune some kernel Parameter.
When I tried to apply the parameters (using SAM) I got the following error and the tuning falied.

Cannot build a kernel using /usr/sbin/config. The standard output of
the command is shown below:
/usr/ccs/bin/ld: mod_wk.d/krm/mod_conf.o: Mismatched ABI. 64-bit PA
object file found in 32-bit link.

Stop.
config: make did an exit(1)
The command exitted with exitcode -71.

What could be the problem? Kindly let me know

Choice 1)

Restore your system file its probably been corrupted.

Choice 2)

Restore vg00 from most recent Ignite make_tape_recovery tape

Choice 3)

Play around

swconfig \*
swverify \* look at the output, see what's broke, fix it.

Hi,

Have you upgraded the m/c to 11.0?

if so, start from the scratch(reinstall the 11.0)

This message tell me about a mismatched
64- & 32- bits code. You have an old 32-bit object module. You need to install the newest version of the EMS Kernel
Resource Monitor (from Support Plus CD).
