      <description>I have to send mail from my hp-ux 11i server.&lt;BR /&gt;My server is out of domain.&lt;BR /&gt;The DNS is not setted.&lt;BR /&gt;I have modify /etc/mail/sendmail.cf:&lt;BR /&gt;Dj$w.mydomain.com&lt;BR /&gt;DSnotesserver.mydomain.com&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and /etc/hosts:&lt;BR /&gt;xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx notesserver.mydomain.com&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;i have stopped and started sendmail.&lt;BR /&gt;I send mail but it isen't arrived.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In the /var/adm/mail/mail.log i have these messages:&lt;BR /&gt;Dec  4 10:34:41 localserver sendmail[24995]: KAA24995: from=root, size=5, class=0, p&lt;BR /&gt;ri=30005, nrcpts=1, msgid=&amp;lt;200212040934.KAA24995@localserver.mydomain.com&amp;gt;, relay&lt;BR /&gt;=root@localhost&lt;BR /&gt;Dec  4 10:34:41 localserver sendmail[24995]: KAA24995: to=utente@mydomain.com, del&lt;BR /&gt;ay=00:00:02, mailer=relay, stat=queued&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Which is the problem?&lt;BR /&gt;What have i to do?&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks&lt;BR /&gt;Stefano</description>

      <description>Hi Stefano,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I think that the problem are in the line:&lt;BR /&gt;DSnotesserver.mydomain.com change it by&lt;BR /&gt;DS notesserver.mydomain.com &lt;BR /&gt;You need a white space between DS and your server name.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Then reboot your sendmail daemon.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Justo.</description>

      <description>YOu should be able to do a &lt;BR /&gt;nslookup to the smtp server from the unix machine.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#nslookup notesserver.mydomain.com</description>
