topic System load issues in Operating System - HP-UX

Hi,

We have configured three rp7410 (OS HP-UX 11i) for WebLogic 6.1 cluster. When we run our application on those servers then server load keeps on increase, top command shows those Java processes take more than 100% CPU resources. We installed required Java patches as advised by HP. But nothing helped much.
We migrated the same WebLogic environment in 3 A class server (HP-UX 11.00) & did stress test. Though those Java processes are still taking more than 100% CPU resources, but system load are quite normal.

What could be the reason ? Is it Patch issues. We have Feb 2001 patch bundle on those RP servers. I am going to upgrade patch bundle to Sep 2002. Would it really help to gain the performance.
Upgrading your patch bundle to a later one may solve your issue. Unfortunately you are quite a bit behind. Have a look in the patch database from this link.

http://support1.itrc.hp.com/service/patch/search.do?pageContextName=hpux:::
