STM HP 11i problems.

I have got installed the packages:
PHSS_26417.STM-CATALOGS configured
PHSS_26417.STM-SHLIBS configured
PHSS_26417.STM-UUT-RUN configured
Sup-Tool-Mgr.STM-CATALOGS configured
Sup-Tool-Mgr.STM-MAN configured
Sup-Tool-Mgr.STM-SHLIBS configured
Sup-Tool-Mgr.STM-UUT-RUN configured

So STM does not work, when I try to start it, I receive the message: " not found ".
There is not /usr/bin/mstm. What is happend ?

Looks like you do not have all the filesets installed:
# swlist -l fileset |grep STM

Sup-Tool-Mgr.STM-MAN B.11.11.05.10 HPUX Support Tools Manager Manual Pages

Some filesets are missing. You should have for example :

Sup-Tool-Mgr.STM-SHLIBS B.11.11.07.23 HPUX Support Tools Manager Share Libraries
Sup-Tool-Mgr.STM-UI-RUN B.11.11.07.23 HPUX Support Tools Manager User Interface

/usr/bin/mstm is delivered by Sup-Tool-Mgr.STM-UI-RUN. You should have a look to your /var/adm/sw/swagent.log ...

In fact Harry is right, the path is /usr/sbin/mstm, but this missing fileset would deliver :

# Sup-Tool-Mgr.STM-UI-RUN B.11.11.07.23 HPUX Support Tools Manager User Interface
/usr/bin/stm
/usr/sbin/cstm
/usr/sbin/mstm

Only stm is in /usr/bin.

Hi,

You still have an installation problem. STM was not correctly installed when you patched it, so now, some patch filesets are also missing :

PHSS_26417
--> Sup-Tool-Mgr.STM-UUT-RUN
--> Sup-Tool-Mgr.STM-UI-RUN
--> Sup-Tool-Mgr.STM-CATALOGS
--> Sup-Tool-Mgr.STM-SHLIBS

Perhaps you should remove STM and patch and start it again from scratch ...

I suggest you reinstall your STM since you did not mention how you install STM to begin with. Refer here for all the details.
