bar code fonts

Hello,

I need to get bar code fonts to be printed on some of the HP laser jet printers through my L-class servers.

Do I need to install any fonts..? Do I need to buy any hardware for this?
These printers can print bar-code from windows front-end but not from unix.
Any kind of informations /help is appricaited.

barcode-0.98 allows you to create and print barcodes.

How are you creating bar code labels on Unix machine?
I have been using the attached script to print bar code labels on our Laser printers without any problems.

Here is a perl module I came across. I have not tried it and it generates .png files.

I've downloaded and installed barcode0.98 from hp's porting centre. But don't know how to use it
