Appart from copying a whatis to /usr/share/lib from another system, is there a way to generate a new one for a new system to invoke man -k

TEST:/usr/share/lib#ll whatis
-rw-r--r-- 1 root other 132012 Dec 22 1999 whatis

You need to run the following command to use man -k

As root

# catman

This will take some time.
