Copying Files to Floppy Drive : CDE driven

I would like to customise my CDE of B2600 workstation :

I want to add, in FILE menu of my filemanager
an option to copy the selected file to my floppy.

How do i do it ?

In general How is a file copied to my floppy drive on a B2600 workstation in commmand line ?

Hi Aravind,

I can't give you a hint on the first part of you question. The second part is easier.

HPUX to HPUX copy

# ioscan -fnC floppy
Class I H/W Path Driver S/W State H/W Type Description
====================================================================
floppy 0 8/16/10.1 pflop CLAIMED DEVICE HP_PC_FDC_FLOPPY
/dev/floppy/c0t1d0 /dev/rfloppy/c0t1d0

# mkdir /floppy (to create mountpoint)

# newfs -F hfs /dev/rfloppy/c0t1d0

# mount /dev/floppy/c0t1d0 /floppy

# cp (file) /floppy/(file)

# umount /floppy
