      <description>I am seeing a lot of the following in my /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log file:&lt;BR /&gt;NOQUEUE: SYSERR(root): Switch map aliases: unknown member map aliases.nis&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'm not sure what prompted this?. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;Randy</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Looks like nis is in your /etc/nsswitch.conf file for aliases. Take it out if you are not using nis. Restart sendmail. You may just want to keep only "files" for alias look up.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-Sri</description>
