      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am planning to write a python script for HP-UX, but couldn't find anywhere if python comes pre-installed with HP-UX, so our client need not install anything.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can someone let me know how can I find this info ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;# uname -a&lt;BR /&gt;HP-UX hpux02 B.11.31 U ia64 0142952130 unlimited-user license&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It's not part of the core OS to my knowledge, but you can download and install a version from HPE here:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://myenterpriselicense.hpe.com/cwp-ui/free-software/HPUXIEXP1131" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;https://myenterpriselicense.hpe.com/cwp-ui/free-software/HPUXIEXP1131&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If that's not recent enough, there's a slightly newer non-HPE version available here:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Languages/python-2.7.18/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Languages/python-2.7.18/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you need Python 3, I think you are out of luck...&lt;/P&gt;</description>
