Seeking Support for CATIA V4 on HP-UX

Dear all,

Since Dassault Systèmes no longer sells or provides maintenance for CATIA V4, we are attempting to migrate from our existing IBM hardware to an unused HP C8000 workstation. However, we are facing compatibility and support issues.

Is anyone still using CATIA V4 in an HP-UX environment? Any insights or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Are you getting any errors/issues while deploying CATIA V4 ?

Hope you have HP-UX 11i , probably 11.11 installed in the work station HP C8000 and updated with the latest patches and drivers . Please note that HPE is no loner supporting the work station/OS installed .

You may also consider using newer version of the software along with a compatible/ newer OS/HW

I am not experiencing any issues while using CATIA V4. Instead, I am looking for users within the HPE community who are still running CATIA V4 on an HP-UX environment.

Dassault Systèmes has discontinued the demo support and sales of CATIA V4, which has put me in a difficult situation. In my previous company, I used CATIA V4 on an IBM AIX system, and after starting my own business, I purchased three unused HP C8000 workstations with HP-UX. However, I am unable to use CATIA V4 on them.

Last year, a Dassault Systèmes sales representative informed me that CATIA V4 ADD could still be purchased, which is why I proceeded in this direction. Given this situation, I would appreciate any guidance or insights from the community regarding the use of CATIA V4 on HP-UX.

Hello bro,I am using CATIA v4 irix,and I also have a hp c8000, would you share your catia4 install cd?
