From a client, or on the server where Oracle exists? And what type of user is this mail going to?<BR /><BR />I've never heard of UTL_SMTP, but basically, to configure a UNIX server to send mail, you first need the name of an smtp host that you normally get from your Mail (or Exchange) administrator. This gets encoded in the sendmail.cf file on the line indicated by "DS".
