Can anyone tell me if /opt/graphics/common/lib/libhpgfx.sl a standard library that should be there after you install HP-UX 11.00 or not?

If not, which package/patch do I need to install to get that library?

I think it is a shared lib installed with starbase.

I'm not too familar with StarBase. Is this an optional software package or is this package needed by some other package by the OS?

The starbase developer libraries and the starbase display libraries are part of the HP Developers kit. Product#: B3394BA

Also Ive been told that the Software Transition Kit (STK). Product#: B8678BA
contains limited versions of the libraries.

As it is HPs proprietary 3D graphics API it is also bundles with teh HPUX 11 core options Product#: B6268AA
