Hi,

no idea what has happened, but maybe a look to api.log and client.log in /var/opt/resmon/log may give you some hint what happens with your EMS software.

Best regards

Stefan

I have two N-systems forming a cluster, and EMS is instaled on both systems. Everyday, in the application /etc/opt/resmon/lbin/monconfig I see "Event monitoring is currently disabled". I enable it, but i get the same result one day after. No cron processes disable it, and I cannot see anything int syslog.log and other EMS logs.
Does someone knows what can be happening?
Thx

Rod

If the deamons are stopped put a script in place to monitor when the stop - the time may give you a pointer to an event.

Paula

Hi Rod

check this ,

first check the status of the fileset of the EMS with the command :

swlist -l fileset -a state | grep -i ems
see if all the fileset are in a config state .

i will also advise you to remove the EMS that you have in the computer and to install it again , you can find it on the support plus cd and then install the last patch for ems

the last patch is :

PHSS_26871 - s700_800 11.00 EMS (A.03.20) & HA Monitors (A.03.20) patch

PHSS_26947 - s700_800 11.11 EMS & HA Monitors (A.03.20.01) patch .
