I'm trying to install a 11.0 on one of my hp. It is a freshing installation however it hung on the nfs server and client. As for my understanding, we have to deactivate the nfs server and the client. However, I am not sure on how to do so? Thanks for your help ? ( is there any file that i can go to edit this nfs server/client?)...
The file you need to edit /etc/rc.config.d/nfsconf I think.

Anything there that has a value of 1, will need to be changed to have a value of 0.

Other things to check is the NIS setup. To turn that off go to /etc/rc.config.d/namesvrs

change the value of 1 in the /etc/rc.config.d/nfsconf to 0 for both nfs server and nfs client. This should stop bringing up the nfs daemons.

Thanks
