As I know valid device drivers for autocangers are schgr and autox0. I guess spt is used for very old machines having HP-PB bus
Eugeny

Hi gurus
I have the following issue.
When doing an ioscan on my K-series 10.20 machine, my robotics comes up as unclaimed & unknown.
The driver it should pick up is wrong. I took the driver out of the kernel, using sam, rebooted the system & it still picks up the same driver.
It picks up the autox0 driver instead of the spt driver.
The ext_bus is scsi3.
The tape drive on the otherhand does work.
Please assist.
Thank you in advance.........
Shaamil

try following.

This forcibly binds the driver to specified hardware.

ioscan -M spt -H auto_exh_path

Now check if you can access the auto exchanger.
