I meet the same question.
I can not rcp some binary to the destination machine.
did you resolve this question ?

on one machine or the other its diagnostic time.

netstat -I 1 3

the 1 is whatever lan card the traffic is supposed to be on

lan0 is 0

interval is 3 seconds.

You may have a physical network problem.

Is NFS involved?
