      <title>NFS problem</title>

      <description>I am trying to configure an NFS server.  but when I run &lt;BR /&gt;$showmount -e on the server I get the error "showmount: ngbva: RPC: Program not registered".  I also noticed that the rpc.mountd is not running.  how do I start it?  I stoed and started nfs.core nfs.client and nfs.server and they start fine.  thanks in abvance.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;these are myfiles:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;(/etc/rc.config.d/nfsconf)&lt;BR /&gt;NFS_CLIENT=1&lt;BR /&gt;NFS_SERVER=1&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;(/etc/exports)&lt;BR /&gt;/home   -access=copva&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;$ps -e&lt;BR /&gt;624 ?         0:00 rpcbind&lt;BR /&gt;660 ?         0:00 rpc.statd&lt;BR /&gt;666 ?         0:00 rpc.lockd&lt;BR /&gt;1630 ?         0:00 nfsd&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
