Sorin, you can never "Save" pages in IE, only "Save as..." - and this means that the shortcut CTRL+G doesn't work.
If you cannot see under "File" the "Save as..." option try to install again IE.
Hi Sorin,

Let me suggest one thing first. You could have copy and paste instead of attaching a document in word format, or just attach a text file using notepad. Some contributors don't like word attachment. However, let's try one thing, I'm not sure if it's gonna work as your question is not clear to me?

Open the IE browser>Tools>Internet Options>General TAB>Settings>View Files>delete the files.
Also, you might need to click on the delete cookies button.
Also, set all the options to default settings.
I'm assuming that you are not in a GPO and that you are a local user in a standalone PC.

Please let us know how it goes.
Thanks and good luck.

1. I work of course
1.I work of course with "Save as" !
2. Today was a good morning.
Without any settings modifications I succeed to save some pages, e.g.:
*Page from Microsoft, error 306321: saved as ".mht".
*Page from Microsoft, error 267288: saved as "htm", but not possible as ".mht".
Yesterday or 3 weeks ago the operation was impossible. But tomorrow ?
I don't found an explication.
3. My PC is linked by the intermediate of a hub (I think) which is in an another room.
Thanks.
Sounds like you have a fake association of file type first, and then an hide well known extension...
Try under options in explorer (not IE, but the windows expl. accessed by win+E) to unclick hide extensions for well know type, and try also in file type to check that .htm is related with IE, and that no 'mht' exists. supress it in case.
By the way, you can only save .htm files, but no .html files, which have to be renamed .htm in win...
Good luck
J
