topic Internet Explorer 6 - Cannot Paste Passwords in Internet Products

This is an annoying problem. IE6 on a WIN98 machine. When the authentication box comes up for a website that requires a password, I can copy and paste the USERID but when I try to paste the password into the password field the paste function is not available. Any ideas? I have been through Internet Explorer options a dozen times and I still cannot get it to work. Any help would be appreciated and I will assign points.

R'
Did you try: Ctrl + v

Usually that will work even if the edit menu doesn't show paste.

Ron

I think he capability you are looking for is included in the Resource Kit. Separate item, separate cost. I got mine for W2000Pro for $25 bucks from a used book store.
