      <description>This seems to be very dependant on the hardware installed, not all interfaces support MII (Media Independent Interface). Try ethtool.</description>

      <description>Well my notebook has a non-MII card and ethtool is not installed ;-)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;hwinfo give some rasonable information on SuSE.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Greetings, Martin</description>
