    <description>You were quite clear yesterday. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The simplest approach, as a previous post&lt;BR /&gt;noted, is to use public key authentication.&lt;BR /&gt;Out of curiosity, what is your objection&lt;BR /&gt;to that approach?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If your windows ssh client is similar to the&lt;BR /&gt;unix implementation, it's intentionally &lt;BR /&gt;disallowing IO redirection for reading&lt;BR /&gt;the password (thus necessitating the &lt;BR /&gt;awkward expect approaches, etc). &lt;BR /&gt;I don't know the windows equivalent&lt;BR /&gt;of these workarounds. &lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi all,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I think yesterday i was not clear- &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Query is :: &lt;BR /&gt;1)I am working on .net platform (C#).&lt;BR /&gt;2)I am supposed to execute one ssh command .&lt;BR /&gt;3)The command is : ssh -T root@&lt;IPADDR&gt; .&lt;BR /&gt;4)After execution of the above command , it is asking for a password .&lt;BR /&gt;5)Through my program, i am not able to provide the password .&lt;BR /&gt;6)I don't want to use public key authentication,expect scripts,cygwin etc .&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Need to know whether it is possible to provide the password without using these utilities .&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards,&lt;BR /&gt;manoj&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/IPADDR&gt;</description>
