    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello HPE support,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you for replying!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;1) Change "Legacy BIOS mode" to "UEFI mode"&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;That was done.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;2) Diagnose the disk, even the iLO shows healthy status&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What do you mean by that? Can you explain better? I can not take the AHS logs because of the following error "&lt;SPAN&gt;Active Health System Log is inaccessible because it is being used by another application."&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;3) Update the controller and system firmware to latest version&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I updated the firmware to version 2.8.2. What do you mean by Update the controller? Is that a procedure and the newest version?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;4) Remove all USB devices connected if any.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There is no USB devices connected to the server&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;5) Review the IML, AMS logs with iLO status after doing the above steps. Let us know if the issue is still persists.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I don't know which logs are AMS, but as I said the AHS is not available. &lt;P&gt;We run some compute nodes (services) on top of HPE Server. We noticed an incident where the compute node was offline and checking the Onboard Administrator we noticed some issues:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;On the .NET Integrated Remote Console, there is the following alarm:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;" There was an error running the kickstart script "&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="iLo remote console.png" style="width: 1028px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.hpe.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/140550i3FCB7546167B897F/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=2000" role="button" title="iLo remote console.png" alt="iLo remote console.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The system is healthy. There are no alarms on iLO:&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;We can see on the smart array on the&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;Physical Devices configuration &lt;STRONG&gt;no physical devices are associated&lt;/STRONG&gt;, the physical device is not detecting the disk and it should. But, like I said there are no issues on iLo.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Troubleshooting has been done so far:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Confirmed the system is health&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Tried to &lt;SPAN&gt;turn off the server, pressing it for 20s, and then putting it back on.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Tried to turn off the server and reinserted the disk&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Tried to &lt;SPAN&gt;Change Boot Mode from "UEFI Optimized" to "Legacy"&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;What can be done in this case to fix the issue?&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;We replaced the disk, now we can see the physical disk recognized by Intelligent Provisioning, however when I tried to install Cent OS 7 I got the error: No Disk Detected.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Any ideas how to proceed here?&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.hpe.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/1933195"&gt;@STie&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1stly I would say checkk if&amp;nbsp;disk is correctly configured in the BIOS/UEFI settings.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Recheck&amp;nbsp; SATA mode is set to AHCI (if applicable) instead of RAID, as some Linux distributions have trouble recognizing disks in RAID mode without additional drivers.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I hope you are using&amp;nbsp;the correct CentOS 7 installation media...&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Check the connectivity and disk health..&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Let me know..&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
