    <description>Sorry for replying so late&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;is nss_ldap and ad4unix available in rpm format?? from where i can get it ? is it available for free for RHL??&lt;BR /&gt;from where i can get SFU ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Ok I if m not wrong... I have to install nss_ldap/ad4unix at client(nix)and for Windows to use NIS services I have to install SFU at Windows(client).. is it what u mean U.SivaKumar ???&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hello&lt;BR /&gt;Is it possible to make a *nix machine, client of MS based Domain(Active Directory Services), if then please let me know what shouild I have to do on *nix(esp rhl) to make it the client of MS based Domain.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Second, is just apposite, i.e. If a domain is  *nix based(NIS), so is it possible to make a Windows machine, client of NIS Domain ??? if then what should i have to do ?</description>

      <description>Hi ,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;you have to install nss_ldap libraries and define attributes for schemas in windows 2000 ADS server for unix user information.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;For easy integration , use ad4unix package to do the same.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;For windows to use NIS services and NFS services you have to install Windows Services for Unix (SFU).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;U.SivaKumar.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
