There is a BogoMIPs HOWTO, you should read that to get a larger picture of your CPU and the entire sub-system.

In the /proc dir there are many information about your system, in example:
/proc/cpuinfo --- about CPU
/proc/memeinfo --- about Ph. mem.
/proc/mdstat --- about Raid state
..etc

you can read this files with 'cat'
