      <description>We use mondo rescue software to backup our systems to dvd-rw. We also use a free product called star. Just like tar, but it has more options and seems to be a good bit faster. We also use an Arcserve for Linux product. But it is not free and is a bit cumbersome. I would suggest using star to tape nightly, then use mondo on the off hours to create a bootable backup CD of the entire system.</description>

      <description>Ignite(make_tape_recovery) has not been ported.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There is a free immitator product called Mondo which does this basic function for Linux.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Search for Mondo and you will find at least 50 threads that mention  it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
