    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks for sppedy, solution driven and concise reply to all the mails I have been sending to this forum. I would like a solution to this little challenge too.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I want to install Linux on my laptop from external cdrom, possible a USB enabled external cdrom. I prefer this option because the laptop cdrom  has since packed up&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks for your anticipated reply&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Yinka</description>

      <description>Start the laptop with the device attached and powered up.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Figure out out to get into boot configuration.&lt;BR /&gt;There will probably be onscreen. Make sure the machine boots off of external devices or cd-rom first in the bios.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Stick the cd for your Linux in said drive.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Save the bios configuration.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Boot, and you should be in the installer.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;Just select the option of Boot from CD-ROM Drive in the BIOS and insert the CD and try.&lt;BR /&gt;I think it should start installing it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,</description>
