I guys, I have an hp DL580 with a emulex LP952 and RH enterprise 3, how can i do to install the driver of the fc card?

Download the file lpfc-4.30l-1_gcc3x.i386.rpm from the Emulex website.

I had no luck withe the current release (for my FCA2101 adapter, an LP950 or LP9002) and I had to select 'View previous releases' to find a suitable driver.

Hi Jeroen, I see on www.emulex.com that i must to install the update1 for RHEL3, where can i find it?

Gabriele,

if you downloaded RH EL3 recently from RH's site, you have the update already.
Check your file /etc/issue for '(Taroon Update 1)'.

You need an RHN account for Red Hat Network, select the tab 'channels' and select 'Easy ISOs'

I found Update 2 (first time I see it).

Information on the discs is in the attachment.

you update RH system with up2date utility.

up2date --configure

if you have to configure your system to update via proxy server.
you also have to register first
up2date --register

see man up2date
for more help
