We are using a NFS server with Redhat AS 3.0.
The maximum block size it supports today is 8k (/usr/include/linux/nfsd/const.h).

We want to see if there are any patches/upgrades which we could use to make use of 32K block size.?

Do anybody know of any such patches?

Thanx
Balaji./
I don't think block size is going to make a huge differenence on NFS performance.

Otherwise, just run up2date and everything available will be displayed on the GUI.

I have no specific knowledge as to whether this patch exists or not. I am doing heavy NFS work and find the AS 3.0 performs better than all prior versions.

SEP
