      <description>Does anyone knows is there any charged Fortran compiler for Linux? Since the OS is 64bit and default Fortran compiler is not efficiency, so I'd try to find the other kind of Fortran compiler that can install on Red Hat 2.3? Thanks.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;OS:Red Hat 2.3&lt;BR /&gt;Model: HP rx2600 / Itanium II CPU</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;sorry, cannot resist. The "Intel" Fortran compiler is really the DEC Fortran compiler that was sold (together with the engineers) a while back to Intel.       <description>every linux distro should come with a fortran compiler, which is included in gcc as the g77 package. this will be the gnu fortran compiler.</description>
