    <description>I added suucessfully a jetdirect printer using printtool.  Now when I run lpstat -t I get the follwoing:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#printer myprinter unknown state. enabled since Mar 06 13:55 2002. available&lt;BR /&gt;Printer: myprinter@pluto&lt;BR /&gt; Queue: no printable jobs in queue&lt;BR /&gt; Status: subserver pid 9308 exit status 'JFAIL' at 11:56:16.368&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any ideas?&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks in advance</description>

      <description>The stuff about unknown state is normal as far as I can tell.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can you do a 'lpc status' and post that, along with the printcap entry for that printer?</description>
