      <description>i'm getting following error when i do make&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ld: final link failed: No space left on device&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;df -k,, enough space is there on the disk&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;df -i ,, even inodes are free&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;please suggest&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks&lt;BR /&gt;chakri</description>

      <description>My guess is that despite your "df" output, there is not enough space on the device for linking.&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;Perhaps you can provide more inofrmation.  For example, what are you building, where are you building it and what is the output of your "df"</description>

      <description>Ld is likely to remove is temporary files when ending on an error, so you can not see the problem.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If your make runs long, try to monitor the disk usage. If no, try to increase your FS size (if able) or try to link where there is much space available.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Fred&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
