    <description>Which driver does the 1460B use?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  o When you insert the card, does&lt;BR /&gt;    KUDUZ find it?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  o If you do a &lt;MAKE modules=""&gt; will it&lt;BR /&gt;    build the modules by itself, or do&lt;BR /&gt;    you need to do some funny stuff?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards,&lt;BR /&gt;tonyp&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/MAKE&gt;</description>

      <title>Laptop: pcmcia scsi card &amp; driver</title>

      <description>O/S: RedHat 3.0 AS&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Version: 2.4.21-4.EL&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Platform: HP Omnibook 4150&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Does anyone know of a PCMCIA SCSI card&lt;BR /&gt;that is available and works with a laptop?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'm trying to get my old Bus Toaster that&lt;BR /&gt;uses the sym53c500 to work, but I'm having&lt;BR /&gt;a bear of a time. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I was able to do some sneaky things when &lt;BR /&gt;I went from the 1.2 kernel to the 2.1, but &lt;BR /&gt;the current Linux source directory and kernel&lt;BR /&gt;building rules are tough to work with under&lt;BR /&gt;the 2.4 generation.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards,&lt;BR /&gt;tonyp&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Sorry for this late reply but I have been keep busy today &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The driver is aha152x I am running fedora Core 2 but have had this running as of 5.2 of redhat if my memory serves me well ... I did have to a few problem then but this is now well detected by all the various kernel (distributions) I have installed (anacron will detect this at installation time) or the kernel has to be scsi aware but just the default scsi and aha152x as module option in the kernel config, plus the aha152x as module should do the trick.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Have a look at the attached file (lsmod and dmesg at insert of the pcmcia card)&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;kudzu does not react when i put this card in cardmgr is running and it will take care of mounting the card and attached Hardware (at least that is what i "think" )&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;tell me if you need more ...! once again sorry for the delay.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Jean-Pierre</description>
