    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;yes, it is possible to mount a remote CD as local via NFS.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You must export it first from your local CD, something like this:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;a) mount your cdrom locally&lt;BR /&gt;   mount /mnt/cdrom&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;b) export the mounted cdrom in the local macnhine&lt;BR /&gt;   exportfs -i -o ro *:/mnt/cdrom&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Mount via nfs the cdrom in the box without cdrom&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;c) once you no longer need it&lt;BR /&gt;   exportfs -u *:/mnt/cdrom&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;d) umount the local cdrom&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Frank.</description>

      <description>Of course you should share it on remote machine first.&lt;BR /&gt;So if you shared it via NFS.&lt;BR /&gt;then the mount command would be:&lt;BR /&gt;mount x.x.x.x:/sharepath /mnt/localdir&lt;BR /&gt;Hope it helps...</description>
