As of now ACPI doesn't work either. The bios is missing on some tables, which the kernel tries to load and thus fails. But not with aplay or wavplay. <BR />Using XFree 4.2.0 I have no problems with a usb mouse. <BR />I think having the latest kernel and XFree really is of importance. My PCMCIA port is correctly identified in the 2.4.18 only.
